–   Big Machine Label Group racked up 21 American Country Award nominations today with 7 of the artists on its rosters garnering multiple nominations.


The young independent label group comprised of Big Machine Records, The Valory Music Co. and Republic Nashville earned the second highest amount of nominations of any label group represented.


With a current tally of 30 million digital downloads sold, superstar Taylor Swift earned 3 nominations.  Superstars Rascal Flatts, multimedia icon REBA and one of the format’s hottest newcomers Steel Magnolia each earned 4 nominations.

Multi-platinum songstress Jewel earned 1 nomination while rising stars The Band Perry (whose single “If I Die Young” just earned GOLD status) garnered 3 nominations.
