Who: Epicureans and Scottsdale Culinary Festival attendees interested in learning about this nonprofit event’s unrivaled tradition of charitable giving in support of local Arts and Arts Education.

What: As the nation’s longest-running culinary celebration, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival (SCF) is a Valley institution. However, between all the celebrity-chef dinners, Champagne brunches, and food-filled picnics, it’s easy to lose track of the festival’s tastiest takeaway: $302,000 in fundraising for over 40 charities in the Arts and Arts Education.

Presented by the nonprofit Scottsdale League for the Arts, the 2010 SCF raised a spectacular $302,000 to support Arts and Arts Education programs across Arizona. (Vital cultural and educational programs are in need of support more than ever in these challenging economic times.) In fact, since 2002 the League has contributed more than $3.5 million to local cultural organizations such as Ballet Arizona, Childsplay, Free Arts of Arizona, Greasepaint Youth Theatre, Jazz in Arizona, Phoenix Boys Choir and the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.

Information for the 2011 Scottsdale Culinary Festival /// For more information call the Scottsdale League office at 480.945.7193.

When: The 33rd annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival will be held April 5 – 10, 2011

Where: Locations across greater Scottsdale.
