April FOOLS Day Scripture: YOU Are the Fool!

A special snippet editorial from Curt Bizelli

The Holy Bible tells us a lot about fools and foolish ways, and you may not like what it has to say. Think Twice before you pull an April Fools Joke, for The Bible says:

“The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.” – Proverbs 14:8 NIV

The Keyword in the passage above is “deception” … Think about what you’re doing when you pull an April Fools Joke. Yes! You are Deceiving, thus according to The Bible, YOU ARE THE FOOL!

… and we continue …

“Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.” – Ephesians 5:4 NIV

WOW … Did that just say “course joking???” … Again, Think twice before you pull an April Fools Joke, for The Bible is not written by man. It is the Wisdom of God … therefore when this magazine says, “You Are The Fool” we are acting on biblical scripture and not our own lack of knowledge. Read more biblical scriptures related to fools and foolish ways:

In Hebrew, NABAL means fool. Nabal was the husband of Abigail. (Refer to 1 Samuel 25:3)

RACA, is another “rough” translation of fool that means “You good for nothing moron”.

Matthew 5:22 (New International Version, ©2011)

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
